The film was adapted by the 1981 drama adaptation and the 1986 Broadway musical, Raggedy Ann. Ever since its release, the film only gained a few home video releases and some television broadcasts. The film received mixed reviews, with most of the praise going to the animation. And, sherluck, they had found the gloomy pumpkin, and when Ann told the pumpkin that he would make Ralph happy, a smile came across his face. So, with Arthur and his skateboard and a flashlight (for the pumpkin), the three ragdolls headed for the pumpkin patch. Meanwhile, in the neighbourhood below the hill, Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy watch from their window a sad little boy named Ralph, who lives across the road from their house with his cold-hearted Aunt Agatha, who does not think trick-or-treating on Halloween is fun at all! Feeling sorry for young Ralph, Ann and Andy thought a Jack-o-lantern would cheer him up. The show starts with a gloomy pumpkin crying forlornly about being left out on Halloween. ![]() It is an animated Halloween special made by Chuck Jones, starring Raggedy Ann, Andy, and their dog, Raggedy Arthur. Now here's a Halloween special I'd forgotten about until I saw it on YouTube. ![]()
